As 2016 comes to a close, so does CPS’s current solar panel rebate program. Not to worry though, CPS has come out with a new and improved rebate program for 2017!

 

Here is the basic information on how it works:

• 60 cents per watt rebate for local installers (roughly 15-20%)
• 8 cent rebate for using locally made Mission Solar Panels (less than 5%)
• Only Solar Installers registered with CPS are eligible

 

This is, of course, on top of the 30% Federal Investment Tax credit, bringing your savings to roughly 50%!

 

The most significant difference with the new program for CPS rebates is that it encouraging the use of local products and professionals. This is great for our local economy and for building quality customer relationships.
